On clean blade my vow is signed
I am born, I live, I die to serve
Upon my faith, my family, my life;
I swear in front of my people
Those here and now; those yet to come
All those within the border, however it may shift
From the crown of the mountain,
Through the heart of the palace,
To the crest of high seas,
On two legs I stand to view
Who resides on this land
To those I’ve seen
I vow to erect no visage upon this sworn land
My life, my mind, my speech
I will use to bring truth
To steel my hand. To defend
Those who stand in front, besides, behind me
I incur no fame
I shall not be revered
When I am gone only a vow,
A ring shall remain here
Gaze upon me, those I serve
Sealed in red, my stamp still hot.
I was born, I live, I’ll die for this land
